Browser notifications
Get QuietBill reminders as notifications on your computer or phone browser, and send yourself a test.
Browser notifications show QuietBill’s reminders on your device, even when the QuietBill tab is closed. Any team member can switch them on for their own browser.
Switch them on
- Open Settings > Integrations in the browser you want notifications in.
- Switch Browser notifications on.
- When your browser asks whether QuietBill may show notifications, click Allow.
- Click Send a test. You should see a notification within a few seconds.
Repeat this on every device and browser where you want notifications. The setting applies only to the browser you turn it on in.
What you get
A notification for every alert QuietBill sends in the workspace: cancellation deadline reminders, trial-end reminders, price-increase alerts and “possibly dormant” alerts. Each one shows the email’s subject and, for deadlines and trials, the days left. Clicking it opens the subscription.
As with emails, there are no notifications for estimated deadlines or deadlines you are keeping, and none while the workspace is read-only.
If it does not work
- “Notifications are blocked for this site.” You or your browser declined permission. Allow notifications for app.quietbill.com in your browser’s site settings, then switch the toggle on again.
- “This browser doesn’t support push notifications.” Use a different browser, or rely on email, Slack or the calendar feed.
- “No devices registered to notify.” Switch the toggle off and on again in this browser.
- Nothing appears after a test. Check your computer’s notification settings and any “do not disturb” mode.
Turn them off
Switch Browser notifications off in the same browser. Notifications also stop if you are removed from the workspace.
