Editing and confirming clauses

You are always in control of the data. Open any subscription and you will see its clause fields: the verbatim clause text, the notice period, the cancellation method, and any price-escalation language.

Edit any of them. When you save, two things happen:

  1. The clause is marked confirmed and attributed to you.
  2. QuietBill recalculates the cancellation deadline from the notice period you set (or you can set the deadline directly).

From that point on, the AI will never overwrite your confirmed values, even if a later receipt arrives. Human input is treated as the source of truth.

This is useful when you have the real contract in hand, when a vendor states the terms differently than the receipt implied, or when you simply want to correct an extraction. Confirming clauses for your most expensive subscriptions is a good habit.
