Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2026
These Terms govern your use of QuietBill, operated by QuietBill, a registered trade name of a Dutch sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak), Beeklaan 38, 4702JL Roosendaal, Netherlands, KvK 97282812. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
QuietBill captures your software subscription documents, extracts details including auto-renewal clauses, and sends reminders about renewal and cancellation deadlines.
Accuracy and your responsibility (important)
QuietBill uses automated AI extraction, which can be wrong or incomplete. Deadlines, notice periods, prices, and clause text are estimates to help you, not legal or financial advice, and where labeled "estimated" they are derived from a vendor's public terms rather than your specific agreement. You are responsible for confirming the actual terms of your own contracts and for meeting your own cancellation deadlines. QuietBill is not liable for a missed cancellation, an unwanted renewal, or a charge, whether or not an alert was sent, delayed, or incorrect.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including anyone you invite or any upload link you share.
Acceptable use
Do not upload content you have no right to, attempt to breach security, abuse the service to overload it, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Trial and billing
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial; no payment details are needed. If you do not choose a paid plan by the end of the trial, your account becomes read-only: your data stays available, but alerts pause and new documents are not processed until you choose a plan.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or yearly, on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can change or cancel anytime from the billing portal; plan changes are prorated. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Plan limits (tracked subscriptions, seats, and a daily processing limit) apply as described on the pricing page. If you delete your account, any paid plan is cancelled at the same time.
Third-party services
Your use of connected mailboxes and payment providers is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Intellectual property
QuietBill and its software are owned by us. You retain ownership of the documents and data you provide; you grant us a license to process them to provide the service.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using QuietBill at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination you may request export or deletion of your data.
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in the app. Continued use means acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
